Greg is from Bloomfield Hills, MI and has previously been traveling in a Roadtrek Class B motorhome. He had just picked up his new Global Expedition and had brought it to the Overland Expo to get some ideas about off road travel and outfitting his new go-anywhere home.
He gives us a tour of this beautiful behemoth and tells us why he chose this model and where he plans to go.
This is a very rare opportunity to own a car with Playboy valve covers.
The values of classic Mopar muscle cars have been going through the roof in recent years. Usually, the cars closest to their original condition are the most valuable, but here’s a 1972 Dodge Charger that’s nowhere near its original self that’s sitting on eBay with a starting bid of $99,950. As of this writing, there are zero bids on the car and the reserve has not yet been met. The eBay listing says this Playboy-themed Charger was commissioned to be designed by artist Richard Phillips and was built by Flordia auto shop Serig Designs.
Where to begin with what makes this Charger special? For starters, it has a NASCAR engine. Specifically, a 358 cubic-inch Dodge R5-P7 V-8 built by Arian Martinez at All Out RPM Racing Engines in Cutler Bay, Florida. The engine has been rebuilt with a lower compression making it suitable for street use. The eBay listing claims it makes 790 horsepower and has a redline of 9,800 rpm. It has a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter, a custom driveshaft, and a “NASCAR style” nine-inch rear end.
Perhaps the most notable thing about the engine is its valve covers, which are emblazoned with the Playboy bunny and word logo. In fact, the entire car is Playboy-themed inside and out with the iconic bunny appearing on the hood, both rear quarters, wheels, steering wheel, floor mats, headrests, and tachometer. To remind your passenger how much of an adult entertainment connoisseur you are, a giant “PLAYBOY” emblem is on the passenger side dashboard.
The car is located at Euromotorsport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and it’s up for grabs. If you’ve been looking for your rolling proclamation of your enthusiasm for Playboy with about a six-figure price tag, then this is the car for you.
When we hear the words “mobile home”, our minds often go to a place that is not exactly decadent. However, there is one German company that is trying their absolute best to change this perception once and for all. Their newest innovation will make your father’s old trailer look like a Tonka toy. This beast will cost you a pretty penny though.
In order to purchase this mobile home, you are going to need to have some serious cash saved up. The Performance S is the latest mobile home model from the good people at Volkner Mobil and this bad boy is going to run you a cool $1.7 million.
It’s essentially a resort on wheels.
The vehicle measures in at 40 feet long, while still remaining sleek and stylish. Occupants receive access to a double bed and a heated bathroom. There is also a very spacious lounge area for you to enjoy. Just in case this motor home isn’t classy enough for you, you’ll also have access to a garage that allows you to take your Mercedes or Ferrari along for the trip.
It’s equipped with a full kitchen…
A comfy double bed…
A heated bathroom…
And best of all, an electrohydraulic garage big enough to fit anything from a Ferrari to a Mercedes

Chevrolet will sell its biggest Silverado ever when it launches a new line of trucks in the medium-duty truck segment next year.
The automaker has confirmed the Class 4 and Class 5 trucks will wear the Silverado 4500 and Silverado 5500 nameplates, similar to how Ford brands its medium duty trucks under the same F-Series banner as its light and super duty pickups.
CHEVROLET CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF TRUCKS WITH SPECIAL EDITION PICKUPS
“We are earning new business because we have more solutions to help businesses grow,” Chevrolet U.S. director of Commercial Product John Schwegman said in a statement announcing the new models.
“The Silverado 4500 and 5500 will stand out because we’ve designed the trucks around how customers work. They will be powerful, highly maneuverable and among the easiest trucks on the market to upfit with specialized bodies, such as dump bodies, rollbacks, freight boxes and more.”
FORD F-650 TEST DRIVE:
The trucks will be available in regular and crew cab configurations and available with 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains with Allision transmissions and Chevy’s Duramax diesel engine, which is rated today at 445 hp and 910 lb-ft of torque in heavy duty pickup applications. Full details will be announced closer to their launch in late 2018.
Chevrolet currently offers a line of low cab forward cab chassis trucks in Class 3 to 6 that are reengineered versions of Isuzu models, while the new Silverados are part of a joint venture with Navistar and are closer in design to the Chevrolet Kodiak, which went out of production in 2009.
Its long been rumored that the U.S. President’s Cadillac limousine, which was last updated in 2009, is built on a Kodiak chassis in order to carry its heavily armored body. A new limousine is known to be in development and expected to be delivered to the White House before the end of this year. It’s possible that it is merely an update of the existing vehicle, but the timing makes it possible that it is based on the new truck.
Here we have a video reminder of what is the fastest road car on a standing mile. On 16 October 2012, Johnny Bohmer, owner of Performance Power Racing and Driver of the BADD GT, set the record at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA, yes the same runway that the Shuttles from NASA land on. The gear he used was a 1700 horse power 2006 Ford GT. The gear that Guinness used to measure and confirm the data was provided by Tag Heuer timing equipment. The record was confirmed and verified by International Mile Racing Association officials on the spot.
2020 EL CAMINO SS IS ON ITS WAY! DO YOU LIKE IT?
THE NEW 2020 EL CAMINO SS NOW IS GETTING MORE ATTENTION FROM THE PEOPLE EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD. WHO DOESN’T NEED THIS 455 HORSEPOWER HAULER THAT IS ABLE TO DRIFT THE BACK END AROUND LIKE SHAKIRA? WE ARE NOT SURE WHAT THE CARGO CAPACITY IS ON A GM ALPHA CHASSIS, BUT WE KNOW THAT YOU COULD MAKE IT INTO A TARPOLIN LINED COOLER/HOT TUB.
Because the photo proof is simply a rendering with an unfamiliar source means that it could be some very bored photograph or maybe it could have came from GM just to check the reaction. Because the buzz on the internet has been insane for things like the gossiped Ford Bronco, and so many others, gives these companies an amazing feedback on if they should carry on with the project.
So, if you like this project, then let us and GM know that, and if you don’t like it, then comment on what they should change.
Ford has stopped playing coy and finally confirmed its rumored plans to revive one of the brand’s most popular nameplates, the Bronco. With the Jeep Wrangler proving to be a license to print money, the Blue Oval will finally have a sporty off-roader to compete with it starting in 2020.
“We’ve heard our customers loud and clear. They want a new generation of vehicles that are incredibly capable yet fun to drive,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford’s president of The Americas. “Bronco will be a no-compromise midsize 4×4 utility for thrill seekers who want to venture way beyond the city.”
The Bronco and the Ranger pickup truck will share a chassis and a factory at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant in Dearborn. The Ranger will hit showrooms first, starting in 2019, with production beginning in late 2018.
The factory building the new trucks must first be converted from today’s use producing Focus compact cars, whose production was moving to a Mexican plant to make way for the more profitable Ranger and Bronco. It’s now being built in the United States.
Incredibly, Ford made the official announcement of the new models but showed no concept versions, prototypes or even artists’ sketches of the vehicles, leaving us to rely on our old friends at Bronco6G.com for their impressive renders of what the future Bronco could look like. Maybe leaving the field to Bronco6G is an endorsement by Ford that the new model will resemble these images.
The new generation of the Shelby 1000 has arrived during SEMA week at Shelby American’s Las Vegas production facility as a 1,000-horsepower package available for any V8 Ford Mustang built from the 2015 model year on. The road-course-focused beast features track-tuned suspension, bodywork and brakes, plus a new supercharged V8.
The hotrod swaps the GT500’s stock V8 with a 5.2-liter engine mated with a 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger, a 90-degree crank and modified GT350 cylinder heads. It also gets a new high-flow fuel system, intercooler, upgraded manual transmission, electronic control unit and tuning. The body features a new front fascia, hood, front fenders, rockers, quarter-panels, rear diffuser, exhaust and widened front and rear track. Underneath is a fully adjustable coilover suspension, stronger spindles and hubs, hardened wheel studs, wider wheels and tires, and a Brembo braking system.
The previous-generation Shelby 1000, based on 2012 through 2014 model-year GT500s, was based on the 5.8-liter engine that made 1,200 horsepower, so the new version is actually less powerful. A spokesman tells Autoblog that the 5.8L is no longer available and that the output will be higher than 1,000 hp. Shelby also says the current-generation Mustang is more complicated than the previous platform, making the new Shelby 1000 an entirely different car.
“We do far more than just add horsepower and cosmetics to the Shelby 1000,” Vince Laviolette, Shelby American’s vice president of operations and head of development, said in a release. “We replace every major component to create the ultimate track machine. The result is a car that will slice through corners and blast down straights with amazing ease.”
Unlike the previous-generation Shelby 1000, which was offered in both street and off-road configurations, Shelby said it opted to make the new generation purely an emissions non-compliant track car. Prices begin around $170,000, not including the actual Ford Mustang GT. Only 50 per model year will be built, starting in the first quarter of 2018.
